SavedMetrics is a local-first, private-first desktop application. This policy explains what data we collect, what we don't, and why.

1. Business data we never collect

Your Amazon advertising reports, sales figures, search terms, ASIN performance data, and any other business metrics you import into SavedMetrics are processed and stored entirely on your local machine. We never collect, transmit, access, or store any of this data on our servers. We have no ability to view it.

2. Anonymous product analytics (beta)

During the beta period, you may choose to share anonymous product usage data to help us understand which features are working well and where to improve. This includes information such as which views are opened and how often, general import counts, and application errors. Anonymous analytics are disabled by default and only collected if you explicitly enable them in the application settings.

This data contains no business metrics, no advertising figures, no file contents, and no personally identifiable information.

3. License authentication

The software may connect to our licensing server to validate your license key. This request transmits only your license key and a basic device identifier. It is used exclusively for purchase verification and is never used for behavioral tracking.

4. Network activity summary

SavedMetrics connects to the internet only for:

• License key validation (periodic, to our licensing server)
• Anonymous product analytics during beta (opt-out available)
• Update checks, if enabled

No other network activity occurs. The application does not phone home with business data, does not include third-party advertising SDKs, and does not sell or share data with anyone.

5. Support data

The app includes an optional support summary export. This file contains your app version, operating system, and aggregated error counts — never business data. You control whether to generate it and whether to send it to us.

6. Data storage and security

All imported data is stored in a local database on your machine. SavedMetrics does not use cloud storage, remote databases, or external backup services. You are responsible for backing up your local data.

7. Children's privacy

SavedMetrics is a business tool and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the product evolves. Material changes will be communicated through the application or on this page. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
